Day 1: Delhi – Mandawa – Shekhawati (6h)

According to the flight schedule. Traditional welcome by your guide at the airport.

Departure to the Shekhawati region which is characterized by small villages surrounded by sand dunes, the traditional havelis of the wealthy merchants who once lived from the camel trade between India and Central Asia: veritable small palaces with walls decorated with painted frescoes “the open-air gallery”.
On the road, visit the village of Nawalgarh and its havelis (overview and walk). Arrival late afternoon. Overnight at Radhika Haveli hotel.

Day 2: Shekhawati – Fatehpur – Bikaner (4h)

After breakfast, discover the famous village of Mandawa and its havelis before taking the road to Bikaner On the way stroll in the village of Fatehpur.

Continuation towards Bikaner visit of the very beautiful fort of Junagarh dating from the 16th century. It is one of the best preserved in Rajasthan. Take a tuk-tuk ride through the alleys of the old town where you can also discover beautiful havelis. Overnight at Sagar Hotel.

Day 3: Bikaner – Jaisalmer (6h30)

Departure to Jaisalmer, a fortified city emerging from the desert, a former obligatory passage for caravans of spices, opium and indigo, between the Indus Valley and Central Asia, made a fortune in the 18th century.

Visit of Bara Bagh, former garden of the sovereigns of Jaisalmer to discover the cenotaphs (chhatris) of the sovereigns, built on a hill in a very beautiful setting. Night at the hotel. Heritage Jaisalmer.

Day 4: Jaisalmer

Visit of Jaisalmer called “the golden city” because of the color of the stones at sunset. Impressive citadel with its walls and its massive towers which testify to its past splendor by sumptuous residences (Havelis) of merchants, with richly chiseled ocher sandstone facades. Visit of the fortress, its magnificently sculpted Jain temples. Walk in the city. In the afternoon camel ride in the magnificent desert.

Day 5: Jaisalmer – Jodhpur (5h)

Depart for Jodhpur, en route visit a desert school*. Continuation towards the blue city of the desert. Visit Fort Mehrangarh, for miles around it dominates the landscape and houses palaces decorated with wall frescoes and stone lace, stroll through the city. Overnight at Haveli Pal.

Day 6: Jodhpur – Ranakpur – Udaipur (5h)

Depart for Udaipur. En route visit the famous Jain Temple at Ranakpur. This famous temple is dedicated to Bhagwan Rishabdev, the first of the Jain Tirthankar. Arrival in the white city and check-in at the hotel. 2 Night at the hotel.

Day 7: Udaipur

Overlooking the city of Udaipur and Lake Pichola, the Maharana Palace (City Palace) houses interesting collections of weapons and miniatures as well as a veritable maze of courtyards and gardens, halls and lounges decorated with mirrors, ceramics, paintings. Visit the temple of Jagdish (17th century) which houses a black stone statue representing Vishnu in the guise of Jagannath, the lord of the universe.

Day 8: Udaipur -Pushkar (5h)

Visit of the “Saheliyon ki bari” garden which was built only for the women of the royal family by one of the Maharajas, the garden, a real haven of peace and greenery, abounds with different flowers such as bougainvillea and lotus flowers.

Pushkar is the spiritual city built around the sacred lake of the same name. High place of pilgrimage for Hindus, this city is considered one of the oldest existing in India. Visit and walk between the hippie stalls, the ghats where pilgrims perform their fascinating rites and the temples with breathtaking views of the surrounding countryside. Visit of the Brahman temple of the city.

Take part in the holy ceromonay of the Hindu.

Day 9: Pushkar- Jaipur (3hrs)

Departure for Jaipur, the “pink city” Departure for the visit of the Fort. Ascent to the ramparts on the back of elephants (or by Jeep if unavailable). Visit the Palace with its rooms set with mirrors and the old harem, a real labyrinth! Dinner with traditional dancing.

Day 10: Jaipur

Vegetable and flower market, govind dev ji temple, monkey temple, visit to a village or school, nahargarh fort to see the view of Jaipur, Bollywood film. 2 Night at Anurag Villa hotel

Day 11: Jaipur – Abhaneri – Agra (5h)

Departure for Agra, on the road visit the village of Abhaneri and chand baoli which is an old water reservoir. The Red Fort whose high red sandstone walls dominate the Yamuna River. Overnight at the Atulaya hotel.

Day 12: Agra –Mathura- Delhi (4h)

Visit Agra, one of the highlights of Mughal art and architecture: the Taj Mahal, the country’s most famous monument, considered the eighth wonder of the world. This luminous mausoleum of white marble encrusted with semi-precious stones was built by Emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his wife Mumtaz Mahal; the Red Fort whose high walls of red sandstone dominate the Yamuna River. Road to Delhi. Night at the hotel. “Note: The Taj Mahal is officially closed every Friday.

En route, visit Wildlife S.O.S. is a non-profit organization that works for the protection and safeguarding of wildlife in India. It provides medical treatment to injured and sick elephants who are forced to work in urban settings. It also facilitates the rescue of abused elephants, which are then placed in sanctuaries – the main one being their elephant conservation and care center in Mathura, Uttar Pradesh. This center rehabilitates more than 20 elephants and tourists can visit and volunteer there.

Day 13 and Days 14: Delhi/New Delhi

Departure for a tour of the capital of the republic. Delhi, with approximately 19 million inhabitants, is divided distinctly between the old city and the new city (New Delhi and Old Delhi).

Chandni Chowk the old style shopping district, jama masjid, peek at red fort, India gate (triumphal arch), Rajpath (presidential palace), Qutab minar, visit famous SIKH temple etc, 2 Overnight at the Jyoti Mahal hotel.

Day 15: Transfer Back

Transfer back to the airport according to the flight schedule for your country.
