Day 1 Arrive in Delhi

Upon arrival at Delhi International Airport, you will be welcomed by your Authentic India Tours representatives who will transfer you to your hotel for a 2 night stay.

 

The rest of the day is free to relax and enjoy the wonderful facilities of your luxury hotel.

Day 2 Delhi

Today is an opportunity to explore the historical city of Delhi with a full day sightseeing tour. Your tour begins in the wide avenues of New Delhi where you will see the Lutyen’s buildings and the India gate memorial, along with the impressive tomb of Humayan and Qutab Minar.

 

In the afternoon your visit continues with a traditional rickshaw ride through the bustling and vibrant streets of Old Delhi. You’ll also see the Jama Masjid and Rajghat, the resting place (Samadhi) of Mahatma Gandhi.

Day 3 Delhi to Agra

The morning drive to Agra will take about 3 – 4 hours.  In the afternoon you will visit 2 UNESCO world heritage sites the impressive Agra Fort followed by the world famous Taj Mahal.

Day 4 Agra to Ranthambore

This morning your adventure takes you to Ranthambore National Park where you will stay in a jungle lodge. Ranthambore is a former royal hunting ground and home to tigers, leopards and marsh crocodiles.

 

The journey in total takes about 6 hours and includes a stop en-route at the deserted Mughal city of Fatehpur Sikri which dates from the 16th century.

Day 5 Ranthambore

If you love nature today is a special treat with 2 safari drives into Ranthambore National Park. Your jeep safari will take you through the rugged terrain which is home to a wild variety of wildlife including the elusive Bengal tiger.

 

Your game drives are early in the morning and then again in early evening when temperatures are at their coolest and the animals are most active.

Day 6 Ranthambore to Jaipur

This morning you have another opportunity to enjoy a safari in the national park before departing for the 4 hour journey to the Pink City of Jaipur where you will stay for two nights.

 

Jaipur is one of India’s best loved destinations and is home to wonderful historic sites as well as the film ‘The Exotic Marigold Hotel’.

Day 7 Jaipur

After a leisurely breakfast there’s plenty to see today on your full day tour of Jaipur. This morning you will visit the impressive Amer Fort with your English speaking guide.

 

Then in the afternoon the sights of Jaipur including the City Palace, Hawa Mahal (Palace of Winds), Jantar Mantar and the Museum are all waiting to be explored. Jaipur is also a great place to pick up some souvenirs and gifts from the lively market stalls.

Day 8 Jaipur to Jodhpur

Today we venture from Jaipur to Jodhpur on an a 5-6 hour journey which  embraces the cultural diversity of Rajasthan

 

As you travel through the heart of Rajasthan into the Thar desert, take time to observe the forts and palaces which are dotted along the route.

 

Your stay in Jodhpur is for 2 nights.

Day 9 Bishnoi Village & Jodhpur

This morning we leave Jodphur for a jeep safari to Bishnoi Village where you will experience an eco-friendly traditional way of tribal life.

 

Then in the afternoon Jodhpur, which is also known as the Blue City is waiting to be discovered. You start with a visit to the impressive 15th-century Mehrangarh Fort followed by a tour of Jaswant Thada.

Day 10 Jodhpur to Udaipur

Day 11 Udaipur

In the evening you have the opportunity to enjoy a boat trip on Lake Pichola. Udaipur is also a great place to explore lively bazaars and pick up some mementos of your trip.
