Day 1
Arrived in Delhi, city of a thousand contrasts
Arrival in Delhi and transfer to the hotel for your first night in the capital of India. This day is dedicated to the arrivals of participants. Whatever your arrival time, we will be there to welcome you. We will take you to visit the Laxmi Narayan also called Birla Mandir Temple, Lotus temple and the Delhi Haat Bazar to get into the energy of this city with incredible energy.

Day 2
Arrival at Little Tibet
Very early departure from Delhi by plane for Ladakh, “little Tibet”, a spectacular experience with this flight overlooking the Himalayas. Ladakh, located on the northern tip of the Himalayan range, nestles between two of the highest mountain ranges in the world, the Karakoram and the Himalayan range.
When you arrive in Leh , head to your hotel to settle in. This first day will be devoted to your acclimatization to the altitude. A day dedicated to rest, enjoying the sun and the breathtaking beauty of the Himalayan landscapes.
During this day, Isabelle will present singing bowls to you : their history, their manufacture, the different types of bowls, their handling; It is after this first introduction that you will choose the Tibetan bowl that resonates with you the most from a merchant in Leh. It is adviseable that don’t walk too much. Take some rest.

Day 3
In the heart of Little Tibet, rituals and discoveries
After the breakfast you will discover the heritage of the old town of Leh with its maze of alleys and hidden temples, starting with the Tsemo temple which dominates Leh. It is an important place in local culture because it is home to deities with powerful protective effects. At Tsemo Temple, you will participate in a protection ritual led by one of the temple’s monks. Buddhist philosophy states that we are the only ones who can overcome our own fears and suffering. This protection ritual aims to provide an environment of trust so that you can find within yourself the resources necessary to overcome this suffering.
LEH – CHOGLAMSAR – THIKSEY
Day 4
After the breakfast you will take the road to Choglamsar. You will then have the great privilege of attending a shamanic session: after carrying out purification practices, the shaman enters into a trance and creates a sacred space for healing and divination. A very intense experience of traditional spirituality!
Then you will visit the Tibetan school of TCV (Tibetan Children’s Villages). Opened in 1960 and placed under the aegis of the elder sister of His Holiness the Dalai Lama, the objective was then to house and educate 51 children of Tibetan refugees in India. Today, there are several establishments stretching from North to South India with more than 17,000 students of all origins.
You will also discover the summer residence of the Dalai Lama and its sacred stupas. These latter, also called chortens, were inaugurated by the Dalai Lama and symbolize the mind of the Buddha as well as the different stages of progression towards awakening. Enshrined with holy objects, these reliquaries transmit the blessing of the Buddha.
In the afternoon, drive towards the Thiksey monastery. Built on top of a rocky hill, this monastic complex resembles the Potala of the Forbidden City of Lhasa in Tibet. It houses an immense statue of the Buddha of the future, Maitreya Buddha , whose purity of gaze invites inner contemplation.
LEH – ALCHI – TIMOSGAM
Day 5
Today you will discover the oasis of Alchi – its village and its temples – representing the crowning achievement of Indo-Tibetan art in Ladakh. Dating from the 12th century, Alchi is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. You will explore this green oasis starting with a walk through the maze of pedestrian streets of the village of Alchi. You will see the orchards of fruit trees that line the banks of streams and rivers under the blue sky and the radiant sun of Ladakh.
Apricot trees, apple trees, walnuts and sea buckthorns offer their share of flavors and colors. You will take the opportunity to take a meditative walk with Isabelle and collect some minerals.
Then you will visit the temples of Tsa Tsa Puri. You will be amazed! Built in the plain, they house frescoes and sculptures created by artists from Kashmir. Recently renovated, it houses sumptuous frescoes and sculptures created by the hand of Kashmiri artists. There you will contemplate stupas , also called chortens, which symbolize the mind of the Buddha and represent the different stages of the mind on the path to awakening. Considered sacred objects, they convey the blessing of the Buddha. At this site you will feel a powerful and penetrating energy. You will obtain butter lamps by learning to make them yourself in the temples.
TIMOSGAM – LAMAYARU
Day 6
Today, You will head towards lunar landscapes to discover one of the oldest monasteries in Ladakh, founded in the 10th century: Lamayuru. The site is absolutely grandiose and will be an opportunity for a beautiful walk. Lamayuru overlooks an ancient lake that has been dry for hundreds of years and dominates the village at the bottom of the valley.
LAMAYARU – LEH
Day 7
After the breakfast Then head to the charming village of Timosgam where you will be waited by the nuns. These affectionate women will show you around their convent and invite you to witness scenes from their daily life, such as prayers. In the afternoon, you will leave for Leh.
LEH – SUMUR
Day 8
Today you will visit the village of Sumur with its stupas, its mani walls and its ancient houses. In the heart of the Nubra Valley, you will have the opportunity to discover its monastery and the vast expanses of green fields that surround it. Discover the high plateaus thanks to the highest motorable roads in the world. Head to Khardung La Pass at 5,339 m then delve into the confines of the Nubra valley
SUMUR – DISKIT – HUNDER – SUMUR
Day 9
This morning, you will leave for Lake Yarab Tso. This lake is sacred to Buddhists. Local legend says that visions appeared to pilgrims in the fine movements of the lake’s waves. You will have the pleasure of sharing your meal with a Ladakhi family in the village.
In the afternoon, you will visit the Diskit monastery and its imposing statue of Maitreya inaugurated in 2010 by the Dalai Lama.
SUMUR – PANGONG LAKE
Day 10
Then, you will leave for Pangong Lake. Direction Tibet, to the north. Observe marmots and herds of yak . Discover the dazzling Pangong Lake at 4,250m. You can take advantage of the day to visit the villages around the sacred lake; a unique opportunity to meet and interact with the local population.
PANGONG – LEH
Day 11
After breakfast, Then, you will take the road to Leh where you can rest. At this altitude, you will appreciate the starry night where the Milky Way will reveal itself to your eyes like you have never seen it!
Once in Leh, you can take advantage of your afternoon to stroll or go shopping!
LEH – DELHI – FRANCE
Day 12
Today you will be transferred to Leh airport for Delhi. You will take your return flight to the international airport depending on your departure times.
