Day 2

To Jodhpur by air

Meet your  guide and visit Old Delhi by rickshaw . You fly to Jodhpur , the blue city , you settle in your haveli , a former mansion typical of the region, located in the heart of the old city , you set off on foot to explore the alleys of Jodhpur in the company of your guide . Thanks to his expertise, he takes you out of time, in the cross roads, in order to learn more about the secret of these magnificent blue houses .

Day 3

On the heights of Fort Mehrangarh

In order to best contemplate the city, you visit Fort Mehrangarh , an unmissable historical site of Rajasthan perched more than 120 meters high. Then, you descend from this majestic eagle’s nest to discover different palaces with graceful names: the Palace of Pearls , the Palace of Flowers or the Palace of Mirrors . Then you reach the Ghanta Ghar Clock Tower which indicates the economic center of the city, where you walk through the famous Sardar Bazaar .

JODHPUR–UDAIPUR

Day 4

Ranakpur & Khumbalgarh

After breakfast, you take the road towards Ranakpur to marvel at the Jain temple of Adinath , carved like an ivory jewel. You continue towards Kumbalgarh , off the beaten track, to access one of the most beautiful forts in the region. Continue to the city of lakes, Udaipur.

Day 5

Lake Pichola Sunset Tour

Your visit to Udaipur , the Venice of the East , is a real time machine! You wander through the labyrinths of the City Palace , whose royal residences bear witness to the many architectural influences that have followed one another here over the centuries. Before the day is over, you will observe all the facets of the most romantic city in Rajasthan along a cruise on Lake Pichola . In the early evening you mingle with the locals during the daily Hindu procession of the Jagdish temple and share their songs and their joy!

Day 6

Chittorgarh, the largest fort in India

Visiting Rajasthan is also contemplating the landscapes that pass through time before your eyes. Fort e Chittorgarh, listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, transports you to another time before continuing the road to the village of Bundi , which will appear like a small Jodhpur from the top of the hills through which you will arrive, due to the blue color of his houses. Stroll through this bustling little town, dotted with temples and bazaars that are sure to brighten up your trip to Rajasthan.

BUNDI – RANTHAMBORE

Day 7

In the kingdom of tigers

In the morning, you visit the Taragarh Fort and the magnificent Rajput Palace built on the hill, and admire its magnificent murals. You continue towards the national park of Ranthambore reputed to be one of the places where one can best observe the wild life of this country. With your naturalist guide, you explore the reserve in search of the most shy inhabitant, the tiger !

RANTHAMBORE – JAIPUR

Day 8

Cultural and gastronomic harmony

You continue your journey to Jaipur, recognized worldwide for its colorful gemstones. You visit Galta Ji , a large complex of Hindu temples home to a large colony of monkeys. You enjoy this magical place where pilgrims wash away their sins while, in quiet moments, playful monkeys swim in the holy waters. Then discover the harmony of flavors, spices and colors during a privileged moment of initiation to traditional Indian cuisine.

Day 9

Conquest of Amber Fort

This morning you go up to the Fort of Amber and are seized by this moving and rich landscape. Ingeniously crafted, its frescoes, mosaics, sculptures and mirrors are a real delight for your eyes. Back in the center of Jaipur , let yourself be carried back to the time of the Hindu harems: the Palace of the Winds Hawa Mahal with its 953 airy windows from which the women contemplated the outside without exposing themselves. About twenty gigantic instruments at the Jantar Mantar astronomical observatory teach you a lot about astrology.

Day 10

Browse History to Uttar Pradesh

On the road, the perfectly preserved remains of the ghost town of Fatehpur Sikri tell you about its sumptuous past before its founder, Emperor Akbar, abandoned it, followed by its inhabitants. Take a trip to the other bank of the Yamuna , to the Baby Taj or the Mausoleum of Itimad-ud-Daula . Don’t miss another essential step, a visit to the Red Fort of Agra , where Emperor Shah Jahan who built the Taj Mahal was imprisoned . What a story !

AGRA-DELHI

Day 11

An aurora at the Taj Mahal

As soon as the sun rises, you leave for a memorable visit, that of the Taj Mahal! In its nuanced dress, the morning colors very faithfully personify the nicknamed Monument of Eternal Love . Then return to your hotel for a well-deserved breakfast before taking the road to New Delhi. You then discover the new city and its modern architecture. Between the Porte de l’Inde and the Parliament, take a stroll and open your eyes.

Last day in India
