Day 1

Delhi – Agra

In the land of Gandhi

Namaste! Your driver welcomes you as soon as you arrive at the airport and welcomes you in Hindi. Day 2

After breakfast, depart for Bharatpur. The afternoon will be spent visiting Keoladeo National Park (also called Keoladeo Ghana). Formerly known as the Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary, this park is home to thousands of rare and critically endangered birds. In total, more than 230 species have taken up residence there. In winter, it also welcomes migrants such as the Siberian crane. It has naturally become an important tourist destination, and bird watchers come in large numbers each year to watch the migration. JAIPUR

Day 3

Discovery of the “Pink City”

After having had your breakfast, you leave the hotel for a visit to the famous Amber Fort, before returning to Jaipur for its City Palace and the Jantar Mantar Observatory, classified as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. JAIPUR – PUSHKAR

Day 4 The spiritual city

Today, you reach the city of Pushkar and its sacred lake which welcomes hundreds of thousands of pilgrims from all over the world to purify themselves on the steps of the lake (the ghats). Surrounded by four hundred temples, the lake would have formed following the passage of Brahma, Hindu god who dropped a lotus petal there which formed the three water sources of the city. You will certainly see more than one Sadhu there. Recognizable by their painted faces, these people have broken all social ties in order to devote their lives to the spiritual quest. Although small, the city is also famous for its large camel fair which takes place once a year (in November) and which can bring together up to 20,000 specimens.

PUSHKAR – RANTHABORE

Day 5

In the kingdom of tigers

In the morning, you visit the Taragarh fort and the magnificent Rajput palace built on the hill, and admire its magnificent murals. You continue towards the national park of Ranthambore reputed to be one of the places where one can best observe the wild life of this country. RANTHABORE – SAMODE

Day 6

After breakfast, you will go to Jaipur to discover its world famous architectural treasures. Amber Fort is one of the most fascinating in the country. Its Palace of Mirrors, its pavilion of Public Audiences and its perfectly maintained gardens testify to a grandiose past. The City Palace is another majestic building. It is home to a large number of courtyards and gardens. Among the fascinating elements of this complex: the Mubarak Mahal, the Chandra Mahal, the Badal Mahal and the temple of Sri Govind Dev. The two huge jars exhibited in the City Palace are listed in the Guinness Book of World Records. These are the largest solid silver objects in the world. Another local marvel: the Jantar Mantar. This observatory is made up of several buildings with a unique shape. Each of these monumental instruments is used to take different measurements. You will also visit the colorful bazaars of the city. We recommend that you buy your souvenirs in shops offering locally made handicrafts. In addition to ensuring an income for craftsmen, this contributes to the preservation and rehabilitation of regional arts and know-how. You will return to Samode in the evening. Night at the palace.

Day 7

At the end of the afternoon, embark on a culinary rickshaw ride and taste many local specialties while discovering the Old Delhi district.
