Day 1
Delhi, Welcome to India
You are welcomed at the airport by your private driver who wishes you a happy “Namaste”, welcome in Hindi. You go to your hotel where your travel expert is waiting for you to share with you the latest useful information for the smooth running of your trip. You then set off to discover Delhi. Visit the Temple of Akshardham and The Lotus Temple.
Day 2
DELHI – JAIPUR
The pink city and its majestic fort
Go back down to the historic center of the city to stroll along its famous pink houses. Below, the view of the fort is also impressive. Discover the extraordinary facade of the Palace of the Winds, pierced with 953 open windows, from where women can contemplate the outside without exposing themselves. Day 3
Jaipur
Visit the incredible pink city by hot air balloons. Evening time free for shopping and leisure.
Day 4
Jaipur – Abhaneri – Agra
Morning Hindu Ceremony at Birla Temple
At dawn, go to the Birla Temple to immerse yourself in the heart of spiritual India by attending the daily Hindu ceremony. On the exterior walls, scenes from Hindu mythology stand alongside other portraits: Christ, Socrates, Zarathustra, Buddha, Confucius.
Departure for Agra, on the road visit the village of Abhaneri and chand baoli which is an ancient water reservoir. The Red Fort whose high walls of red sandstone dominate the Yamuna River.
Day 5
AGRA – Haridwar- Rishikesh
Sunrise over the Taj Mahal
Wake up at dawn to watch the magic of the Taj Mahal unfold little by little under the first rays of the sun. The marble, encrusted with precious stones, then takes on golden tones, revealing like a mirage, one of the seven wonders of the world. In the evening visit the haridwar
Day 6
RISHIKESH – VASHISHTH CAVE – HARIDWAR
Early morning transfer to Vashishth Cave (40 mins), very popular for deep meditation among yogis.
The sacred river is here is very close to its sources, so not polluted, you can swim there and its banks are magnificent. On the banks of the Ganges abound ablutions, meditative practices, scatterings of ashes…
The sacred river occupies a central position in the hearts of the Indian people. Its waters are said to bring spiritual wisdom for the believer as well as deliverance for the dead. At the Ganges River, you discover an overwhelming socio-cultural reality.
Transfer to Haridwar to attend the Ārtī ceremony. Evening prayers by the river in Haridwar are a must! This gathering is very impressive by the amount of people present every evening. This sacred city of Hinduism, very old, is the place of the largest pilgrimage in the world, the Kumbh Mela, which takes place every 12 years. Pilgrims flock by the millions to the banks of the Ganges. According to tradition, the devotee who bathes in the Ganges at Haridwar sees his sins erased and escapes the cycle of rebirths in the world of forms. Return for the evening in Rishikesh.
Day 7
RISHIKESH – DEVPRYAG – RISHIKESH
Morning yoga session followed by breakfast.
Transfer to Devpryag (2h). It is the meeting point of two rivers, the Alaknanda and the Bhagirathi, which then flow together and become the Ganges. Return to Rishīkesh
Day 8
Rishīkesh – Jim Corbett
Post breakfast, check out of your hotel and depart for Jim Corbett . If time allows, you can experience river rafting and trekking. Stay overnight in Corbett..
Day 9
Jim Corbett
Thrill of morning and evening Jeep Safari.
Early in the morning, you will be picked up to enjoy the Jungle Safari. Here you will be assisted by our experienced naturalist.
After finishing jungle safari you will be taken back to your resort, where you can spend your afternoon leisure or participate in any in house resort activities or nature watching.
After lunch, you will be assisted again for evening Safari and later dropped off to your resort. Overnight stay at Corbett.
Day 10
Corbett – Mussoorie.
After refreshing morning breakfast, head to Mussoorie. Enroute visit the beautiful Sahastradhara dam. On arrival, check in to hotel and relax for the day. In the evening, enjoy the surrounding regions. Overnight stay at Mussoorie.
Day 11
Mussoorie
Post breakfast, you will be taken for Mussoorie Sightseeing like Bhatta fall, exploring Gun hill by cable car, Mall road, Mussoorie Lake etc. The last stop will be at Kempty falls and after that return to the hotel. Overnight stay at Mussoorie.
Day 12
Mussoorie – Rishikesh
Post breakfast, you will be departed to Rishikesh. After reaching Rishikesh, check into the hotel and proceed to enjoy sightseeing like Ram Jhula, Laxman Jhula, Triveni Ghat, Parmarth Niketan etc. In the evening, enjoy mesmerizing Aarti of holy Ganga at Triveni Ghat. Back to hotel. Overnight stay at Rishiesh.
Day 13
RISHIKESH – HARIDWAR – RISHIKESH
After free lunch, walking tour of Rishikesh, from Laxman Jhula to Ram Jhula, a beautiful walk along the Ganges. Rishikesh is a city of ashrams, meditation, yoga exercises and tranquility.
Meditation session during the walk along the Ganges which can be like the opening circle of the retreat.
You attend the fire ceremony, the Aarti, at the end of the day, at Triveni Ghat. In this Hindu ritual, practiced in all temples in India, the priests soak wicks of ghī or camphor and this light is offered to one or more deities. The Ārtī is usually performed two to five times a day, in the morning and in the evening. The blessings of the deity thus celebrated are then poured out on his devotees, who generally accompany the ritual with ārtī songs. All of them offer flower petals, chants and mantras to the Ganges… at sunset. A great moment of devotion.
Day 14
Rishikesh – Haridwar – Delhi (by car)
Drive to Haridwar for Delhi by car. Back Delhi. Rest in the Night.
Day 15
Delhi – Srinagar
Arrival by Air
On arrival at Srinagar airport, our driver will meet you and then you will proceed to the Hotel for check in. After city tour of Mughal Garden visiting the Nishat Bagh (The garden of pleasure), Chashmashahi (The Royal Spring) and Char Chinar Island (Abode of love). Dinner & overnight stay at hotel
Day 16
Srinagar – Sonamarg-Srinagar (2.5 Hours’ drive, one way)
After breakfast leave for day trip to Sonamarg (Meadows of Gold), it has sheer scenic splendour. The very way-a metalled road snakes through massive mountains laden with forests and firs..After a breath-taking journey from Srinagar you come across Sindh which meanders and is abounded with trout & Mahseer. Onwards the valley opens to a meadow. Ponies can be hired for a trip up to Thajiwas glacier a major attraction during the summer months. Sonamarg importance lies in the fact that it is the last halt on the Kashmir side for the drive from Srinagar to Leh. You will be fascinated to see Snowy Mountains against a cerulean sky against its backdrop.E evening back to srinagar for Dinner and overnight stay in Hotel in Srinagar.
Day 17
Srinagar – Gulmarg 1½ hrs drive and 65 kms one way
After breakfast leave for Gulmarg; one of the most beautiful summer/winter resorts in the valley. One can have a gondola (cable car) (at own cost, booked online) ride from Gulmarg to Khilanmarg to have a real view in natural beauty of the summer and full snow view in winter. You can have a pony ride in the open fields to seven springs and to a lake, which remains frozen until June. Dinner and overnight stay at Hotel in Gulmarg.
Day 18
Gulmarg -Pahalgam 3½ Hrs. drive & 155 Kms.
Morning leave for Pahalgam via Avantipura ruins &Avantipura National Highway Bat Market. On arrival in Pahalgam check in hotel. Pahalgam is one of the most beautiful and fascinating ideal resorts all the year round. It is the base for several treks in the region. Situated at the confluence of the Lidder River and set amidst fir and pine covered mountains, one can have a real feeling of Paradise. You can enjoy the pony ride to Shikargah & Baisaran, Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 19
Pahalgam- Srinagar ( 3 hrs drive)
Leave for Srinagar from Pahalgam. On arrival check in Houseboat Afternoon visit the local handicraft outlets. Enroute visit Cricket bat factory. Evening ride by Shikara to visit Floating Gardens, Lotus Gardens and inside of the Lake. Dinner and overnight stay at Houseboat
Day 20
Srinagar- Delhi
Departure for Delhi by air
After breakfast transfer to Srinagar airport for departure to delhi. Evening time dinner in conought place in New Delhi
Day 21
DELHI – INDIRA GANDHI INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT
Return flight
Depending on the time of your flight.
