You’ll explore the region’s most beautiful forts, marvel at the beauty and detail of the royal palaces, and sleep in havelis, the former homes of wealthy Silk Road merchants. A journey where you’ll discover all the charm of India by wandering through bustling bazaars and the steep streets of colorful cities, and observing scenes of daily life along the way.

Rajasthan is a region rich in culture thanks to its lavish past. Cities boast enchanting nicknames such as Jaipur, “the pink city,” Jodhpur, “the blue city,” or Udaipur, “the Venice of the East,” and Rajput men sport proud looks, crowned with their mustaches and colorful turbans. Your getaway to Narlai also allows you to discover the Indian countryside punctuated by the colors of Indian women’s saris and their welcoming smiles. Day 1

Delhi, Welcome to India

You’ll be greeted at the airport by your private driver, who wishes you a joyful “Namaste,” a welcome in Hindi. You’ll head to your hotel, where your travel expert will be waiting to share the latest information you need to ensure your trip goes smoothly. You’ll then set off to explore Delhi. In this ancient crossroads of civilizations, you’ll visit the Indo-Islamic Qutub Minar, Humayun’s Mughal Tomb, and the Lotus Temple, a symbol of modernity. A capital marked by a host of contrasts that intertwine modern and historical heritage, creating a somewhat stunning and fabulous cocktail that you’ll be eager to taste.

 

 

DELHI – AGRA

Day 2

Day focused on the discovery of Mughal architecture

After an excellent breakfast, head to the historic district of Old Delhi. Stroll through the steep, narrow streets sheltered by the facades of old buildings with carved wooden doors and windows. This lively district is an ode to Indian culture. You’ll be immersed in local life, enjoying the sights and sounds of colorful fabric stalls, sequined embroidery, thousands of bracelets, local barbers, tailors, and street food. You’ll then head to the city of Agra and visit its UNESCO-listed fort and the “Baby Taj.” In the evening, from the Mehtab Bagh Persian Gardens near your hotel, the illuminated Taj Mahal mesmerizes you in the distance.

AGRA – JAIPUR

Day 3

Sunrise over the Taj Mahal

Wake up at dawn to witness one of the most memorable moments of your trip! At sunrise, the marble of the Taj Mahal, encrusted with precious stones, takes on golden tones, revealing one of the Seven Wonders of the World like a mirage. You will be dazzled by the beauty of this tomb, which was built by the Mughal emperor Shah Jehan in the image of his deceased queen to immortalize his love. A story that cradles the place in romance. On the road to Jaipur, you will visit Fatehpur Sikri, the first model of Mughal urban planning, with remains in perfect condition for a journey through time. Overnight in a Haveli.

JAIPUR

Day 4

The Pink City and Amber Fort

Today, you’ll explore the wonders of Jaipur and understand the meaning of its nickname, the “Pink City,” in its historic center. You’ll visit the City Palace and discover an impressive collection of weapons and various objects that belonged to the Maharajas. Then, you’ll admire the exquisite pink facade of the Palace of the Winds, pierced with 953 windows from which women could observe life outside without exposing themselves. At the end of the day, you’ll set off to explore Amber Fort, one of the most beautiful forts in Rajasthan. An impressive site where you’ll admire the mosaics, mirrors, and wall frescoes. Overnight stay in a Haveli.

Given our commitment to responsible tourism, we have decided to cancel the elephant ride to Amber Fort so as not to condone the mistreatment of its animals.

JAIPUR – JODHPUR

Day 5

After the pink city, head for the blue city!

Today, you’ll head to Jodhpur. Depending on your preferences, you can stop for lunch in Pushkar, the holy city with its sacred lake surrounded by no fewer than four hundred temples. Once you arrive in the Blue City, you’ll head straight to the central Clock Tower Square, where the Sadar Bazaar is located. The city is renowned as a crossroads for spices from Kerala. Merchants are eager to offer you a taste of these flavors, which flavor all Indian dishes for your enjoyment. It’s an ideal place to stock up on souvenirs and bring a little bit of India home with you.

JODHPUR – NARLAI

Day 6

The incredible fortress of Merhangarh

This morning, you’ll wander through the narrow streets lined with blue houses in the old town to reach the imposing and majestic Mehrangarh Fortress, which overlooks the city. You’ll relive the history of this citadel, which has remained impregnable over the centuries, and discover the customs and traditions of the ancient kings. Numerous viewpoints offer spectacular views of the hundreds of blue houses, which are supposed to keep insects away. Your private driver will then take you to Narlai, a small, authentic village at the foot of the Aravalli Mountains, to stay in a charming and exceptional hotel. Take a stroll through the village to discover local life.

NARLAI – UDAIPUR

Day 7

Relaxation and unwinding in the beauty of the Aravalli Mountains

After a delicious breakfast, relax by the pool or why not go on a safari? By jeep or on horseback, there’s no better way to observe the local flora and fauna. Thousands of magnificent birds migrate through this region of lakes and rocky hills. You might even be lucky enough to spot one of the ten wild leopards that inhabit the area. After lunch, you’ll take a beautiful road that winds through the Aravalli Mountains to Udaipur, “the Venice of the East.” A fabulous landscape that reveals buffalo wells, fields, and ancestral farming techniques. On the way, you’ll visit the Ranakpur Temple, the largest Jain temple in India.

UDAIPUR

Day 8

City tour and sunset walk on Lake Pichola

Spend a wonderful day in the gentle and charming atmosphere that permeates Udaipur. Start by happily losing yourself in the City Palace, one of the most beautiful palaces in Rajasthan. You’ll wander through the corridors and rooms, each one as sumptuous as a time machine. Then, stroll through the city’s narrow streets, protected from the heat. And why not treat yourself to an excellent Ayurvedic massage with natural essential oils that rebalances body and mind? At sunset, you’ll admire the magnificent facade of the City Palace, which borders the lake, during a cruise on Lake Pichola.

UDAIPUR – INDIRA GANDHI INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT

Day 9

Return flight

In the morning, you’ll take your flight to Delhi. If your international flight schedule allows, why not take the opportunity to do any last-minute sightseeing or wander the bazaars to pick up some last souvenirs. At the Lajpat Nagar market, you’ll find treasures of Indian textiles for both home and clothing. Looking for tranquility? Lodhi Garden is a haven of peace in the bustle of this capital. Your private driver will escort you to the airport. Our services are now complete.
